Mar. 13 7:23 AM PT8:23 AM MT9:23 AM CT10:23 AM ET3:23 PM GMT11:23 PM 北京时间-The Bobcats have signed Hughes to help with depth in the backcourt as they attempt to reach the playoffs for the first time. Analysis: General manager Rod Higgins announced this month they wouldn't sign Hughes because of his broken finger. But the injury has healed, and a team spokesman says Hughes passed his physical and could practice on Saturday. The 31-year-old Hughes was traded from New York to Sacramento last month and then waived. Hughes has averaged 14.6 points since being the eighth overall pick of Philadelphia in 1998. He has also played for Golden State, Washington, Cleveland and Chicago.
Feb. 24 9:01 PM PT10:01 PM MT11:01 PM CT12:01 AM ET5:01 AM GMT1:01 PM 北京时间-The Sacramento Kings have waived Hughes, less than a week after acquiring him from the New York Knicks. Analysis: The move Tuesday comes after Hughes, who did not appear in a game with the Kings, was acquired as part of a three-team deal last Thursday that also sent Tracy McGrady from Houston to New York. The Knicks revealed last week that Hughes has a fractured left ring finger and could miss four weeks.
Feb. 18 1:08 PM PT2:08 PM MT3:08 PM CT4:08 PM ET9:08 PM GMT5:08 AM 北京时间-The Kings will get New York guard Larry Hughes and Houston forwards Carl Landry and Joey Dorsey in the three-feam deal that sent former All-Star Tracy McGrady to New York. Analysis: Hughes has a much-valued expiring contract, although his value on the court has been diminished in recent years.
Feb. 6 3:25 PM PT4:25 PM MT5:25 PM CT6:25 PM ET11:25 PM GMT7:25 AM 北京时间-Hughes has not played since Feb. 5 because of sprained left big toe. Analysis: Hughes, who was traded to Sacramento on Thursday, is averaging 9.6 points in 31 games, but had been used sparingly by New York since January. The 12-year veteran played for the Cavaliers from 2005-08 and started for most of the 2006-07 season when Cleveland reached the NBA Finals.
Dec. 17 3:46 PM PT4:46 PM MT5:46 PM CT6:46 PM ET11:46 PM GMT7:46 AM 北京时间-Hughes hasn't played since Dec. 15 because of a strained left groin. Analysis: Hughes, who is averaging 12.3 points a game, was unavailable Thursday night against the Chicago Bulls and is not expected to play Friday against the Los Angeles Clippers. He says he will be re-evaluated on Sunday and does not see the injury as "being anything long.''
Dec. 7 6:27 PM PT7:27 PM MT8:27 PM CT9:27 PM ET2:27 AM GMT10:27 AM 北京时间-Hughes scored 21 points as the New York Knicks beat the injury-depleted Portland Trail Blazers 93-84 on Monday night for their season-high third straight victory. Analysis: That makes 62 points in three games for Hughes since he was removed from the Knicks' starting lineup. New York has won all three of them, so expect them to keep going to Hughes off the bench as long as he stays hot.
Dec. 6 8:30 PM PT9:30 PM MT10:30 PM CT11:30 PM ET4:30 AM GMT12:30 AM 北京时间-Hughes scored 16 of his 25 points in the third quarter as the Knicks beat the New Jersey Nets 106-97 on Sunday. Analysis: After starting eight straight games, Hughes has come off the bench in back-to-back contests, but he's gotten more productive, averaging 20.5 points and 5.5 assists in a pair of New York victories.
