Analysis: Minor had an injection in his shoulder - he said he didn't know exactly what was injected - and won't throw for two weeks. He said Tuesday ''it's just frustrating more than anything.'' Minor developed tightness after throwing batting practice last week, and the Braves scratched him from what was to be his first exhibition start, Sunday against Houston. An MRI showed inflammation, and Minor was examined Monday by Dr. James Andrews in Gulf Breeze, Florida.

Analysis: Minor, who went 6-12 with a 4.77 ERA for the Braves last season, missed most of the 2014 spring training with a groin injury but came back to start 25 games. Analysis: Minor was awarded a raise from $3.85 million to his $5.6 million request. The 27-year-old left-hander was 6-12 with a 4.77 ERA in 25 starts last year, when he missed the first month of the season because of shoulder soreness. He went 13-9 with a 3.21 ERA in 2013.
