Analysis: The injury occurred in the seventh inning on a controversial slide into second base by the Dodgers' Chase Utley. Tejada, who started the series' first two games, is obviously out for the remainder of the playoffs and was replaced by Wilmer Flores. Flores is the better hitter of the two and Tejada the superior defender.
