Analysis: Sanchez's deal is for $1.25 million. He is 50-49 with a 3.86 ERA in four seasons with the Marlins and was 4-8 with a 3.87 ERA in 2009.

Analysis: Sanchez only went 4-8 this season, but closed in fine fashion, going 2-1 with a 1.80 ERA in his last three starts.

Analysis: Sanchez threw 82 pitches, 52 strikes, and held the Braves hitless until Atlanta starter Javier Vazquez lined a single to left with one out in the sixth. He ended up allowing one run and two hits and imprsesed his manager, Fredi Gonzalez. "Sanchez was terrific. He did fine. He had command of his fastball. That was the best I've seen from him," Gonzalez said.
