ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) Justin Holman threw for 291 yards and a career-high three touchdowns as the University of Central Florida rolled to a 31-7 victory over Tulsa.
UCF (6-3, 4-1) moved into a tie with Cincinnati and Memphis for first-place in the American Athletic Conference. The Knights rolled up 506 yards total offense and held the Golden Hurricanes (2-4, 2-8) to just 201 yards.
UCF led 17-7 at halftime after Holman hit J.J. Worton with a 5-yard scoring pass and Josh Reese with a 77-yard bomb. The UCF sophomore quarterback opened the second half with an 84-yard scoring drive that he finished off with a 25-yard pass to Breshad Perriman.
